AI governance and responsible AI
Clear rules for how your organisation uses AI, that people actually follow.
AI usage policies, risk reviews and data privacy alignment, including India's DPDP Act, so teams can use AI with confidence and oversight.
The problem
Staff are already using AI tools, often with company data, without guidance. Leadership worries about data leaks, wrong answers reaching customers and regulatory exposure.
Banning AI drives usage underground. A practical policy, a lightweight review process and the right technical controls let teams move quickly within agreed limits.
What we build
- AI usage policies written in plain language for staff
- Risk review process for new AI use cases, proportionate to the risk
- Data privacy alignment, with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act as one of the frameworks considered
- Inventory of AI tools and systems in use
- Technical controls: approved tools, data loss prevention settings, logging
How it works
We inventory current AI use, assess risks, draft policy and review processes with your stakeholders, and set up the controls that make the policy enforceable.
- Step 1InventoryWhich AI tools and systems are in use, by whom, with which data.
- Step 2Assess riskData protection, accuracy, security, fairness and reputational risks.
- Step 3Draft policyPlain-language rules, approved tools and escalation paths.
- Step 4Set controlsTechnical settings and logging that support the policy.
- Step 5Train and reviewBrief staff and schedule periodic reviews.
Deliverables
- AI inventory and risk assessment
- AI usage policy
- Use-case review process and templates
- Control recommendations
- Staff briefing
Ways to work with us
Questions
Will this make us DPDP compliant?
We help align your AI practices with DPDP Act requirements and other frameworks, but we do not certify compliance. For legal sign-off, work with your legal counsel; we are happy to work alongside them.
We are a small company. Is this overkill?
Governance scales down. For a small team it can be a two-page policy, a list of approved tools and one person who reviews new uses.
